Hi there. Happy New Year!

Big plans are on the works for True Nourishment this year, but of course, anything that happens here is for you.

Right now we are designing a huge online event. It will bring together many experts with different health and wellness specialties to help you become healthier and happier. That’s all I can say for now, but first, we need to know what YOU want to know!

Please take 30 seconds of your time to answer the following question and enter to win a $25 gift certificate from Amazon:

What is the one question you have or challenge you are facing in creating a healthier lifestyle for yourself?
(It can, but it doesn’t have to be diet/nutrition related.)

To enter, just scroll down and post a comment with your answer.
(You can also email me if you prefer to keep it personal. No biggie)

That’s it. You’re in!

The winner will be announced on Friday the 8th at 12 Noon ET.

Thanks for your help! Gracias! Grazie! Danke! Merci! Arigato!

The biggest challenge I face is the time it takes to shop and prepare and pack up the healthy foods that I would like to be eating at work or on the run.

The one challenge I face this year in creating a healthier lifestyle for myself and my family is balance. Finding a non-stressful way to do it all without losing it! How to eat healthier, fit in exercise, meditation, relaxation and pursue my dreams.

My biggest challenge is finding enough time in the day to do what I need to do, and prioritizing better. This year I signed up for a time management coach, but I was thinking that I would really enjoy if you had an expert of that nature be part of the TNIC expert series.

The challenge for me is to stay motivated to exercise and really make it a self care priority.

One challenge I keep facing is getting myself to do the research on more natural and holistic health care for my heart, as opposed to- or at least supplementing- the medication I’m prescribed to take.

ditto Kelly: The challenge for me is to stay motivated to exercise and really make it a self care priority.

I need to find a way to increase my energy, lower my anxiety and stress levels as well as sleep better; is there anything I can do?

The biggest challenge I face in the new year is finding time for exercise and proper grocery shopping while balancing my job and all my children’s activities. It is often much easier to eat on the run which is not always healthy!

The biggest challenge is to listen to my body and hear what it wants (over the shouts of “I want chocolate!”)

Challenge: say no / set priorities

I’ll second Tamara’s comment–finding the time to locate, buy, and prepare good-quality foods.

Thank you so much everyone for your comments! The winner of the Amazon certificate has been contacted, but by all means, keep them coming! Can’t tell you enough how valuable they are!

@Alison Chugerman: Great point! We are supposed to find time for everything without stressing out! I always tell myself: I can do everything, just not at the same time.

@Patricia: Great idea! I’ll look into it.

@Maureen: There are many things you can do. It depends on your present circumstances and your level of commitment to your self-care. The solutions are there, but you need to commit a little for you to see them.

To find a cheap and easy way to better nutrition through purchases at the major supermarkets with the support of my beloved husband (an excellent cook) who coupon shops and prepares all the food in our kitchen that is not fast food - on peripatetic, demanding work schedules that include the modern equivalent of factory work in our 60th year of life on planet Earth.
