I know I haven’t been around much and I apologize. I have a good excuse though — I’ve been planning a huge event. And now everything is ready, so I can pull back the curtain!
Let me stress that the event is online and free of charge, so don’t worry — you can participate. But before I tell you about it I have to tell you about the Circle of Life.
The Circle of Life is an exercise I do with my clients. In a handout there’s a circle divided into 12 “slices,” if you will. Each slice represents an area of your life. You know, those areas that we must pay attention if we want to get healthier and happier? Relationships, money, sex, home cooking, fitness… The exercise consists of drawing a dot on each slice to represent your level of satisfaction in such area: the closer the dot is to the edge of the slice the more satisfied and the closer to the center of the slice the more you feel you need to work on that area. At the end of it, you connect the dots and end up with a graphic representation of your circle of life.
Anyway, last summer, I was explaining the Circle of Life to a client when the idea came to me: What if I put together a group of experts to talk about these things? The idea stuck in my head… and that’s how Renew You was born.
So that’s it! For months I’ve been coordinating efforts with many people to bring you 13 brilliant — and darn good-looking women — to inspire you. What is the area(s) that you need to work on now?
